Rules & Regulations

Rules to be followed by students

  1. Every student should carry his/her School Diary to school, every day.
  2. Student should report to school at least 10 minutes before the start of the school. Attending the school assembly is mandatory.
  3. Moving from one classroom to another should be done in silence and in an orderly manner.
  4. Students are not allowed to carry any sharp instrument or article that can cause damage to students or school property.
  5. No electronic device like Cell phones, Pen drives, Data cards, IPods, I pads, Digital Camera, SD Cards are allowed to be brought to school. In case any student is found to possess any electronic device it would be seized and not returned back.
  6. Students are expected to take care of all school property. Desks/Chairs should not be damaged or scratched and any graffiti on the walls will result in serving disciplinary action against the concerned students. Recovery of any damage will be made from the concerned student.
  7. LITTER: It is the responsibility of every student in the school to ensure that the school is free from litter. Students are also encouraged to take the responsibility for litter in their immediate vicinity and place any litter in the many bins placed around the school.
  8. Students should be polite and well-mannered at all times and maintain the image and reputation of the school
  9. Bullying and the use of foul language is strictly prohibited and is a punishable offence.
  10. Exploding of crackers or splashing of colour during Diwali/Holi or any other occasion on the school premises is strictly forbidden. Strict action will be taken against student who do not comply with this instruction.
  11. Students are required to attend all functions/special classes or Study Hour/Sunday Classes in proper School Uniform. Wearing of colour clothes are strictly prohibited unless permitted by the Principal.
  12. Children must come in their school uniform if they are accompanying the parents to school for any occasion, especially during PTM's.
  13. It is the responsibility of the Students to read all school notices and bring them to their parents'/guardians' attention.
  14. Late coming, wearing civil clothes , and those who do not do their homework regularly will be penalized.
  15. Extension of the school and all rules and regulations of the school is applicable in the vehicles as well. Violation of any rule will lead to warning, penalty or even expulsion of the student.Students coming to school in vehicles need to understand that the vehicle used for coming to school is just an
  16. Students are not allowed to get down at any other stoppage except the one officially notified. They are not allowed to go to any relatives/friend's house from school.
  17. Students who come to and leave school in the care of an attendant/servant should not leave the school premises before the attendant/servant arrives. In case of delay, they should report to the school office. Motorcycles are not permitted.
  18. Those who go home alone should not loiter around the school premises. No student will be allowed to enter the school once the school gates are closed.
  19. A student who uses unfair means during tests will be given no marks in the subject and warning letter will be issued to this effect. Repetition of the same will result in dismissal.
  20. The school has the right to terminate the schooling of any student whose conduct is a bad example for others.

Rules to be followed by Parents

  1. Parents are not supposed to enter the classrooms or area restricted for only students and teachers of the school e.g – Corridors, Laboratories, Infirmary, Library, Staff room, etc.
  2. Parents are expected to understand their roles in parenting the child and ensure to set right examples for the child. Parents must understand that he is equally responsible for the upbringing and development of their children.
  3. All Parents have to abide by all the decisions taken by the school and the Parent – Teacher Committee.
  4. Parents are expected to meet the teachers with a positive frame of mind and respectfully. Under no circumstance improper behaviour or baseless complaints will be tolerated.
  5. In case a parent is not satisfied with the solution to a problem, given by a teacher, She/He may give a written complaint to the Principal. This will be acted upon promptly and will be dealt with as per the policy of the school.
  6. Parents should not demand facilities for themselves or their wards as they do in a commercial place. It has to be remembered all times that the school is a temple of Education and the same conduct is expected from all parents as they do in a place of worship. Consumer mentality is strictly condemned.
  7. Parents or guardians who misbehave with the Teachers, Management, Office Staff or any student will be blocked from the campus and even legal steps will be taken against such parents.
  8. Any sort of anti – school behaviour will not be tolerated and any parent found trying to spoil the pious atmosphere of the school will be dealt with very strongly, and may even be barred from the school permanently.
